Processing Site Supervisor
This role offers the chance to step into a hands-on supervisory position where you will play a key part in site performance, safety, and delivery. Ideally, candidates will be based locally, however accommodation can be provided if required.
The Role
As a Processing Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring plant and personnel are working safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. This is a practical role that may also involve hands-on duties when needed.
Please note: Crushing & Screening experience is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
·Oversee daily site operations, including plant and personnel
·Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with HSE standards
·Supervise crushing and screening operations to maximise output and efficiency
·Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance
·Liaise with management and client representatives on site performance
·Attend and contribute to site briefings and safety meetings
·Monitor plant performance, carry out inspections, and report defects
·Ensure all contractors comply with site procedures and RAMS
·Complete daily reports, allocation sheets, and production records
·Maintain accurate records, including inventory and site activity logs
Skills & Experience
·Proven experience in a supervisory role within crushing, screening, or similar environments
·Strong understanding of plant operations and basic maintenance
·Experience producing and working with RAMS
·Background within construction, quarrying, or earthworks
·Good awareness of commercial and contractual requirements
Requirements
·Relevant CPCS/CSCS cards
·SSSTS or SMSTS
·Excavator or loading shovel ticket (desirable)
·Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime
·Strong communication and organisational skills
·Good IT skills, including MS Office / MS 365
·Proactive and safety-focused mindset
