What you'll be trusted to do
Take ownership of key procurement categories, leading projects end-to-end
Guide and develop a capable, motivated procurement team
Partner with senior leaders to shape procurement strategy and pipelines
Deliver complex, high-value procurements that stand up to scrutiny
Champion best practice and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
Continuously improve how procurement adds value across the organisation
What you'll bring
You're someone who knows how to operate confidently in a public sector environment-and enjoys making things happen.
A strong track record in public sector procurement, delivering real impact
Deep understanding of PCR2015 and PA23 frameworks
Experience across the full commercial lifecycle, from strategy to delivery
A strategic mindset with hands-on expertise in category management
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
Proven leadership skills, with a passion for developing others
Sharp communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
Ideally CIPS Level 6 (or working towards it)
