Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities
Procurement planning - Lead the development, planning and implementation of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
Stakeholder collaboration - Work with project leads, end users and regional teams to deliver effective and timely procurement outcomes.
Supplier & market engagement - Maintain strong supplier relationships and stay informed about available assets and market developments.
Financial forecasting - Monitor expenditure and produce accurate procurement and forecasting reports.
Technical assessment - Interpret asset specifications and quotation data to support value‑for‑money decisions.
Governance & compliance - Ensure procurement procedures are followed, and financial responsibilities are met.
Asset life cycle support - Support end‑of‑life asset disposal and contribute to capital investment planning.🔧 Essential Skills & Experience
Technical experience in vehicle fleet or machinery (supplier or procurement side).
Strong stakeholder relationship‑building skills.
Analytical ability to assess procurement returns and support sound decision‑making.
High competence in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
