Product Data Lead
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08.00am-17.00pm, 40 hours per week, office based
Salary: £40K-£43K plus bonus

Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-established, growing FMCG global solutions provider who are now looking for an experienced Product Data Lead to work at their offices based in Poole, Dorset.
The Product Data Lead will be responsible for owning, shaping, and governing the end‑to‑end product data lifecycle across the business as well as administering product data on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will ensure that product information is accurate, compliant and optimised to support sales, marketing, customer experience, supply chain, procurement, finance and operations.
The successful Product Data Lead will have: -
* Proven experience in Product Information Management (PIM), product data management, master data and product lifecycles.
* Competency defining standards and processes, ensuring governance and compliance with QA and ISO certifications.
* Proficiency with ERP/CRM and Product Information Management (PIM) systems at advanced level.
* Strong attention to detail
* An analytical approach
* Proven experience working in FMCG wholesale distribution ideally
Job Responsibilities of the Product Data Lead Planner are: -
* Define and maintain the product data strategy, standards, templates, and governance model of the business.
* Design and optimise the product information architecture across ERP and PIM, ensuring scalability, consistent attribute structures, and accurate classification.
* Oversee the lifecycle of product data from creation through enrichment, maintenance, change control and retirement.
* Work closely with Procurement to streamline onboarding of new products, pricing updates, supplier specification management.
* Act as the functional product data lead for PIM and ERP systems
* Oversee product data integration between PIM and ERP, ensuring correct flow, structure and completeness.
* Champion new features, upgrades and process improvements, working with IT, category teams and transformation programmes.
* Ensure PIM data is complete and up to date.
* Monitor backlog risk, turnaround times, and SLA compliance.
* Establish best‑practice processes and workflow automation where possible
