Hunters’ client is seeking a Product Development Technician to support the creation and improvement of production processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient, reliable manufacturing and smooth new product introduction (NPI), working closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
Product Development Technician - The Role
Support new product introduction (NPI), including work instructions and design reviews
Assist in developing and improving production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to optimise workflows
Support the design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and tooling
Conduct audits and monitor process performance to improve quality and consistency Product Development Technician - The Fit
Experience in mechanical assembly, wiring, cable harnessing, or similar manufacturing environments
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Hands-on, practical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Knowledge of cable termination or wiring standards (e.g. IPC620) advantageous What’s on Offer

Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 with an early finish on Fridays
