JOB- Product Support Engineer LOCATION- South Oxfordshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £35,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Product Support Engineer with an Electronics / Mechatronics bias, on a permanent basis, in the South Oxfordshire area. The Product Support Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC/Degree qualified or similar in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering Have some form of industry experience in a technical role after your studies too - previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales, technical support or manufacturing environment would be ideal Knowledge of inverters, motion controllers, or similar is needed – further training will be provided Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone Be able to work well individually as well as a team Be proficient with using MS Office applications CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage but isn’t essential A Full UK Driving Licence would be essential for attending customer sites so flexibility to travel occasionally is needed tooThe Product Support Engineer role will involve: Providing technical support to customers with regards to company products You will be involved pre-sales on the application side of things And also after-sales with troubleshooting issues Providing timely technical assistance over the phone, email and in person Working with the company CRM system Working closely with different company departments to help with product improvements Always driving continuous improvement Delivering technical training sessions when requiredIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
