Production Improvement Engineer

W Talent are now working exclusively with a large manufacturing business located in Mansfield who are looking to recruit a Production Improvement Engineer to support on varied projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Project Engineer or Production Engineer to join a stable and well-established organisation with long-term progression opportunities. Project Engineer The Production Improvement Engineer will work closely with the CI and Engineering Manager supporting multiple projects that will vary in size, complexity, and value. The role will involve hands-on project involvement from early feasibility stages through to delivery. Key responsibilities will include: Working for and alongside senior stakeholders on multiple concurrent engineering projects. Supporting projects from feasibility stage or post-feasibility through to completion. Providing mechanical engineering expertise, including technical support, recommendations, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. Playing a key role in the design and layout phase of projects. Producing and clearly communicating 2D technical drawings to be used throughout the project process. Ensuring projects are delivered with a high level of attention to detail. Actively engaging with stakeholders, contributing ideas, and confidently sharing opinions to drive project success.Key Requirements To be successful in this role Production Improvement Engineer, you will live within a 30-minute, commutable distance of Mansfield, Nottingham and will ideally have: Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management. Proven experience working in a Project Engineer or similar engineering role. The ability to produce and interpret 2D technical drawings. Confidence in your delivery style, with strong communication skills. A proactive approach and willingness to get involved at all stages of a project. High attention to detail and a structured approach to work.My client will consider candidates with 5+ years' experience, as well as those who may be looking to take a step back from a more senior role for a position that offers stability and a better work-life balance closer to home. There may also be opportunities for future training and development, particularly for a more junior candidate with the right foundations.
