Production Manager
We’re hiring for a Production Manager to lead a multi-shift manufacturing operation based in Chapel-en-le-Frith. This is a senior shop-floor leadership role where you’ll control daily output, performance, labour planning, and operational discipline across a large team. What’s on offer? * Senior-level salary package * Early finish on Fridays * 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Permanent position within an established manufacturing business * Direct influence over operational performance * Autonomy to drive improvements and recovery plans * Long-term stability within a structured environment What will you be doing as a Production Manager? * Owning daily production performance across multiple shifts * Managing OEE/OAE targets and driving recovery plans where needed * Leading supervisors and holding teams accountable for safety, output and quality * Controlling labour deployment and overtime spend * Reducing scrap, rework and downtime * Driving 5S and shop-floor discipline * Leading daily production meetings with clear actions and accountability * Collaborating with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to remove constraints * Managing KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting * Supporting Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives * Ensuring compliance with quality standards and health & safety regulations * Leading, coaching and developing a large production team What will you need? * Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment * Experience managing employees across shifts * Solid understanding of OEE, KPIs and performance metrics * Confident using ERP and production reporting systems Interested?
