Production / Manufacturing Operative

Location: Corby Pay: £13.00 per hour (Day Shift) | £14.00 per hour (Afternoon / Night Shift) Job Type: Full-time Overview We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for a busy manufacturing and packaging facility based in Corby. The company specialises in the production of cardboard and protective packaging used across a wide range of industries. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment. The position would suit candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities * Operating or assisting with production machinery used to manufacture packaging products * Feeding raw materials such as cardboard sheets or rolls into machinery * Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch * Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards * Moving materials and finished goods within the production or warehouse area * Supporting general production and warehouse duties when required * Working outdoors may also be required, though the timing, duration, and frequency of outdoor tasks can vary * Keeping work areas clean and organised * Following all health and safety procedures Requirements * Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse work is preferred * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, both indoors and occasionally outdoors * Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks * Good attention to detail * Reliable and punctual * Ability to work well as part of a team * Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential Shift Options * Day Shift – £13.00 per hour * Afternoon / Night Shift – £14.00 per hour What’s Offered * Full-time ongoing work * Competitive hourly rates * Training provided * Opportunity to develop within a growing manufacturing environment * On-site parking
