Apply NowContract Personnel are currently recruiting for our well-established client based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing company as an Assembly Operative.
This is a manufacturing role – not a food factory.
The Role
Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling greenhouses from manufacturing drawings. Working from these drawings, you will manufacture components to the correct size and specification.
Your duties will include:
Assembling greenhouse components from technical drawings.
Cutting frames to the required length.
Punching holes and preparing components for assembly.
Using a variety of basic hand tools, including drills, hammers, hand saws, and screwdrivers.
Carrying out any other duties as required by the client.
What We're Looking For
A good work ethic and a positive attitude.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Previous assembly experience is desirable.
Previous metal manufacturing or fabrication experience would be an advantage.
What We Offer
£12.71 per hour.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:15 pm.
Ongoing full-time work.
Friendly and supportive working environment.
