ZETEC are recruiting an experienced Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Wirral.
Working within a busy production environment, you will support the day-to-day manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating production machinery and equipment
* Supporting manufacturing and production processes
* Preparing materials and components for production
* Carrying out basic quality checks throughout the production process
* Ensuring finished products meet required quality standards
* Working to daily production schedules and targets
* Completing relevant production documentation
* Reporting any quality, production or equipment issues
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
* Supporting other areas of production when required
* Following all site Health & Safety procedures
About You
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
* Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
* Experience operating production machinery would be advantageous
* Good attention to detail
* A strong awareness of Health & Safety
* Ability to work accurately and consistently
* A reliable and positive approach to work
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
