Apply NowSMS – Smart Manufacturing Solutions are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join one of our established clients based in Consett, supporting 24-hour operations within the Automotive Industry.
We are looking for process-driven, reliable individuals who can work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, your duties may include (but are not limited to):
* Working in accordance with health & safety regulations and standard operating procedures
* Operating manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
* Quality checking, inspecting, and labelling finished products
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards
* Working within strict policies and procedures to meet customer requirements
* Ensuring all products consistently meet client quality standards and specifications
* Supporting and encouraging continuous improvement
* Accurately recording production data using internal applications to support effective reporting
Requirements:
* Confident, enthusiastic, and reliable
* Punctual with a strong work ethic
* Able to follow processes with excellent attention to detail
* A good communicator and team player
* Proactive and self-motivated
Shift Patterns
* Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Wednesday
* Night Shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am, Monday to Thursday morning
