Job Summary
Corr Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a bakery in Wembley. The successful candidate must be a hardworking and dependable Production Operative/Baker responsible for the preparation, production, and baking of a variety of bakery products within a high-volume production environment. Ensures all products meet quality standards while following recipes, production schedules, and food safety regulations. Demonstrates strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare doughs, batters, and mixes according to standard recipes and production specifications
* Operate bakery and production equipment such as mixers, ovens, dividers, and proofers
* Monitor baking processes to ensure correct temperatures, timings, and product quality
* Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet appearance, weight, and taste standards
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in line with hygiene standards
* Assist with packing, labelling, and storage of finished products
* Meet daily production targets while minimising waste
* Report equipment faults, product issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
* Work effectively as part of a team and support other production areas when required
Salary & Terms
* 7am to 3pm
* any 6 days out of 7
* £12.71 per hour
* temp to perm
* immediate start
