Night Shift Operative - Glass Cutting (HU7) Location: HU7 Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9:00pm - 4:30am Pay Rate: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (DOE) Additional: 33% night shift uplift Experience Required: Glass cutting or similar precision manufacturing experience About the Role We are seeking a high‑calibre Night Shift Operative to join a busy, fast‑paced production environment. This position is hands‑on and requires someone confident working with glass or similar materials where accuracy, attention to detail, and safe handling are essential. You will be responsible for glass cutting and associated production tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely and to exact quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate glass‑cutting machinery and tools in a safe and controlled manner Measure, cut, and prepare glass to specification Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or safety risks Conduct quality checks to ensure precision and consistency Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines Maintain a clean and organised night‑shift work area Follow all health & safety procedures and site rules at all times Requirements Glass cutting experience or similar production/precision cutting experience is essential Ability to work independently and maintain high standards overnight Strong attention to detail and safe working practices Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing high‑quality work Comfortable working in a physical, fast‑paced factory environment What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate plus 33% night shift allowance Stable night‑shift hours Sunday to Thursday Overtime opportunities depending on workload Supportive team and a well‑structured working environment Interested?
