Weld Preparation Operative

Role responsibilities

Prepare components for welding using fixtures and engineering drawings.
Perform sizing, facing, polishing, linishing, and cleaning operations.
Complete post-weld finishing and cleaning activities.
Pack finished components in accordance with customer and quality requirements.

Skills

Previous manufacturing or engineering production experience.
Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment.
Basic Maths and English skills.
Ability to interpret drawings and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Good teamwork and communication skills
