Production Planning Team Leader
The Production Planning Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and delivering production activities across. The role would suit a hands-on and organised planning professional, who can combine planning, labour management, and leadership to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
Specific duties of the Production Planning Team Leader include:
Generate, manage, and deliver daily and weekly production plans
Lead labour planning and forecasting to optimise efficiency and resource allocation
Track production plan progress and adjust plans to ensure "on time, in full" delivery
Lead, coach, and develop production teams including training, absence, and performance management
Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance output
Coordination with internal teams
Production Planning Team Leader applicants should meet the following criteria:
Production planning, scheduling, or operations experience
Strong understanding of labour planning, production control, and cost awareness
Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / 5S experience beneficial)
