We are currently recruiting for a Production Managers to join a leading electronics manufacturing organisation based in Hampshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a people-focused business that values collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. The successful candidates will play a key role in leading production teams, ensuring operational excellence and driving performance across their respective value streams.

The Role

As a Production Manager, you will lead a team of production operatives responsible for the manufacture of electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub-assemblies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Organise and oversee daily operations to meet production, quality and delivery targets.

* Allocate tasks effectively based on production schedules and individual skill sets.

* Ensure all team members understand and follow work instructions, assembly procedures and quality requirements.

* Act as the first point of contact for resolving production issues and escalating concerns where appropriate.

* Support the training and development of team members through coaching and performance monitoring.

* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and safety.

* Communicate delays, quality concerns and operational issues to relevant stakeholders.

* Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.

* Review and approve timesheets accurately and on time.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Previous experience within a production or assembly environment, ideally within electronics manufacturing.

* Proven experience leading, supervising or coordinating teams.

* A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate across departments.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
