Production Supervisor Larkhall Continental shift pattern Monday - Friday working only 7 days out of 14 £35,600 + opportunity for overtime. We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor become part of a prestige automotive company in Larkhall. Whats on Offer Permanent job with regular overtime paid at great rates Free on-site parking Competitive pension scheme Competitive holiday allowance Investment in training & development What to expect as a Production Supervisor Working a Continental shift pattern - 12-hour day / night shifts Excellent work life balance - working only 7 shifts over a 14-day period Leading the team to deliver the daily production plan and the department KPI's whilst driving team engagement Ensuring quality of product maintained to both internal and customer standards Ensuring all direct reports comply with internal procedures including work instructions, use of equipment, product quality, housekeeping and 5S Comply with all Health & Safety policies participating in key improvement activity as required Identify opportunities for improvement within production areas utilising activities such as Gemba Walks, 5S Audits, Process Audits, Waste Walks, Evaluation of Scrap and implementing corrective actions etc. Ensuring all direct reports comply with company policies and procedures such as break times, start / finish times, absence reporting, holiday management and overtime Identifying training needs and implement ongoing development to ensure operators maintain and exceed required standards within production area Manage operator skill level and capability ensuring labour adequately distributed in production area to ensure targets met What we're looking for Experience of leading a team within a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment Analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations on the basis of available data Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Resilience and self-motivation with a genuine drive for achieving production targets Experience of championing continuous improvement methodologies Proficient with Microsoft packages and reporting A solid work history An enthusiastic can do attitude If you're interested in working for a well-respected business in a permanent position, then we'd love to hear from you.
