As a Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of order planning, reviewing upcoming orders and securing materials and components through the MRP system
Driving purchasing, raising purchase orders, sourcing new components and comparing supplier quotations
Managing UK and international freight, from quotations and shipments through to export paperwork
Ensuring finished products are built, tested and programmed to the required quality standard before dispatch
Monitoring stock levels and leading replenishment and stock takes
Identifying recurring issues and driving improvements to processes and efficiency
As a Production Supervisor, your experience will include:
Background in production, procurement, supply chain or operations coordination (desirable, as training is given)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident communication and supplier relationship management
A sharp eye for accuracy, with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
Good Excel and IT skills, ideally with ERP/MRP experience and knowledge of export documentation
Technical aptitude and confidence working with equipment, ideally gained in manufacturing or logistics
