Production Technician

Techniche Global are supporting a specialist manufacturer of laboratory equipment with the appointment of a Production Technician to join their manufacturing team in Bury St Edmunds. Salary in the region of £26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch) Full training provided Opportunity to join a growing high-tech manufacturing business This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, supporting the assembly and inspection of high-tech equipment. Training will be provided on specific methods and assembly techniques, but previous production or mechanical assembly experience is essential. Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly of equipment and components Wiring harness connection, crimping and soldering Assembly of small tubing and fittings In-process inspection and quality checks Supporting fault finding and continuous improvement activities Managing workload to meet production targets About You Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing role Mechanical assembly experience Able to read engineering drawings Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Good organisational skills and willingness to learn
