Actio Electronics Recruitment is working with a respected manufacturer in Blandford Forum to recruit an experienced Production Wire Person. This is a day‑shift position suited to someone who takes pride in accurate, well‑finished electrical work.
The Role
You will be responsible for producing wiring looms, cable assemblies and electrical builds used in high‑reliability applications. Working from drawings and job packs, you will ensure each assembly is completed correctly and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Building wiring looms and cable assemblies to aerospace‑level
* Confident crimping, soldering, lacing and splicing using approved tools and methods
* Wiring cabinets, fixtures, panels and associated assemblies
* Reading and following engineering drawings, wiring schedules and build instructions
* Working to internal quality standards and customer specifications
* Keeping your work area tidy and supporting continuous improvement
About You
* Previous experience in wiring, cable assembly or electrical build work
* Skilled with hand tools, crimp tools, soldering equipment and basic test instruments
* Able to work carefully and maintain consistent quality
* Experience in aerospace, defence, motorsport or similar environments is an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
