Project Engineer

A great opportunity is now available for Project Engineers to join a well-established Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer and a Senior Project Engineer. You will be joining a global company who work on decommissioning projects across the world, who offer the chance to go on offshore trips 3-6 month per year depending on your availability. If you have strong design and hands-on mechanical experience with subsea tooling, these skills can be transferable to this role.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversea new builds (subsea tools).

* Carry out technical and administrative tasks.

* Manage project costs/ ensure timely completion of projects.

* Create engineering procedures, bid proposals and testing documentation.

* Review engineering deliverables.

* Participate in design reviews for tooling.

* Provide technical support to clients during tender process.

* Create new designs and perform design verification.

* Become an offshore lead on cutting work scopes.

* Undertake testing, diagnostics and repair of equipment.

* Reports of any incidents.

* Participate in meetings.

Essential:

* Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role.

* Strong mechanical and hydraulics ability.

* Flexible for travel.

* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (solidworks or similar).

Desirable:

* Engineering Degree

* Subsea tooling experience

Salary:

* £45-60K + Offshore Uplift
