Project Engineer for Power Transformer/Shunt Reactor Location : South London Work Pattern : Full-time Permanent Salary : Competitive We wish to employ a Project Engineer for developing solutions, monitoring the quality compliance, and innovation of the engineering in our products. Responsibilities * Lead technical communications and discussions with customers across the entire business value chain, using your technical skills for tendering, sales, project execution, and after-sales services. * Provide technical support to our sales and project management departments during tender and quotation processes in order to secure orders. * Review and analyze customer technical specifications and coordinate with the factory to prepare technical documentations and drawings according to customer specifications, as well as international and local standards. * Review technical documentation, such as Design Review documents, mechanical drawings, schematic drawings, and test reports. * Consult with the factory to ensure that technical documentation aligns with customer requirements and recommend any necessary revisions. * Ensure that results and deliverables are delivered to customers on time. * Participate in the investigation of technical issues on-site and contribute to the establishment of procedures and corrective actions. * Complete tasks assigned by your leader in a timely manner. * Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and technical standards Profile * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in power transformer engineering, electrical equipment engineering, or power systems. * Additional experience with other products such as Shunt Reactors and Special Transformers is desirable. * Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of design. * Familiarity with high voltage transformer principles and manufacturing knowledge, as well as relevant technical and manufacturing standards, design and manufacturing processes, equipment and facility status, and installation procedures. * Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and process problems. * Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner. * Proficient with Microsoft Office and associated tools. * Willingness to travel as needed. * Strong team player with the ability to work in a worldwide, multicultural technical team. * Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
