Project Manager (C&I) – Contract – West Wales Location: West Wales This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Renewable Energy sectors. A background in C&I engineering and managing C&I biased projects is essential. The role is outside IR35. Role & Responsibilities * Management of Projects from early phases to completion of detailed engineering. * Collaborate as part of the project management team. * Managing projects at all stages of development, from concept, through FEED and detailed design. * Undertaking work on client sites providing technical advice and project management services. * Client facing role with regular project reporting on delivery for major energy sector projects. * This role will be working in a design/office environment but may require regular trips to site. * Producing budget costs and cash flow projections for projects. * Planning, scheduling and monitoring progress on engineering projects. * Maintain and developing relationships with key stakeholders on projects. * Produce progress reports and lead progress meetings with clients and internal team. * Support and lead bids and tenders for future projects. Key Skills & Knowledge * Previous experience supporting major energy projects is essential (eg. LNG, petrochemical or refining). * Must hold relevant qualification C&I (preferably Degree or similar). * A background in C&I engineering and managing C&I biased projects is essential. * Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial. * Planning and organising, communication, team working and problem solving. * Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.
