Project Manager – Manchester (Hybrid) – £70k This isn’t a role for someone who just updates status reports. It’s for a proper delivery Project Manager who can take ownership when things are complex, pressured and visible. You’ll be joining a FinTech business with a strong product and engineering team that’s growing quickly and winning new work. The challenge now is making sure delivery scales properly. They’re early in building out a PMO, so this is about bringing the right structure and governance to delivery — without creating bureaucracy. What you’ll be responsible for • Owning delivery end-to-end – scope, plan, timelines, budget and quality • Managing senior stakeholders across business, tech and third parties • Creating delivery governance that actually works (RAID, reporting, escalation) • Navigating complex dependencies and pressured delivery environments Experience that really matters • Proven delivery ownership in FinTech or regulated financial services • Experience working with insurance companies or insurance customers is essential • Delivery of transactional or platform-based products • Comfortable when priorities shift and things aren’t perfectly defined Stronger candidates will also have • Delivered API integrations or system migrations • Experience working in regulated environments • Helped shape or mature a PMO / delivery function If you’re used to being trusted with delivery that actually matters to the business, this will land well.
