Are you a planning pro who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and keeping major programmes moving? Join us as a Project Planner and play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact projects within the Defence sector and wider PMO.
We are looking for a fully conversant P6 planner who will be working independently and must be able to carry out the tasks from the JD without support.
This role will be predominantly supporting a secure government site with strict clearance levels.
🔧 What You'll Do
Drive schedule development, coordination and optimisation across multiple projects
Maintain and validate detailed programmes in Primavera P6
Support change control, risk analysis and performance reporting
Lead planning workshops and provide guidance on best‑practice project controls
Analyse supplier schedules, identify risks and support recovery strategies
Ensure project milestones, dependencies and baselines are accurate and compliant
🎯 What You'll Bring
Engineering degree or project management qualification (APMP/Prince2 desirable)
Experience planning complex construction or multi‑discipline programmes
Strong Primavera P6 expertise
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
Ability to influence project teams and drive schedule excellence
