New Homes Sales Consultant – Great Dunmow, Essex

£35,000 basic, £55,000 OTE

Imperial Search Group is working exclusively with a premium regional housebuilder to recruit a New Homes Sales Consultant for a brand-new development launching this summer in Great Dunmow, Essex. This is a ground-floor opportunity to launch a high-quality scheme from day one, working with a builder known for design-led homes and a genuinely consultative approach to sales.

The Development

108 new homes — a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses, including detached and semi-detached homes. Launching summer 2026, this is a genuine pre-launch opportunity to build the site from the ground up. Set within a landscaped, semi-rural location on the edge of a popular Essex market town, with excellent commuter links and fast rail connections to London. The specification is sustainability-led, including air source heat pumps, EV charging points and timber frame construction, and the site forms part of a wider, multi-phase masterplan in the area, meaning a long-term plot pipeline beyond this initial phase.

The Role

Manage the full sales journey for buyers, from initial enquiry and qualification through to reservation, exchange and legal completion. Deliver a consultative, relationship-led sales experience that reflects the premium positioning of the development. Build and manage a pre-launch reservation pipeline, converting registered interest into qualified appointments. Present the development, plot specifications and buying schemes (including Part Exchange and assisted move options) confidently and accurately. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales progress reporting to the wider team. Work closely with the site team, sales management and conveyancers to ensure a smooth path to completion for every buyer, and maintain excellent showhome and marketing suite presentation standards at all times.

What We're Looking For

Proven new homes sales experience, ideally with exposure to premium or design-led housebuilders, though strong volume-builder backgrounds are also welcome. A consultative sales style, comfortable taking time with buyers rather than working a high-volume, transactional process. Strong local market awareness, or the ability to build this quickly ahead of launch. Confidence managing a sales pipeline from cold registration through to completion. Excellent organisation, administration and CRM discipline, and a polished, professional presentation style suited to a premium buyer audience.

Package

Base salary £35,000, on-target earnings circa £55,000 with plot-rate commission on top of base. Full-time, site-based role
