Prototype Wire Person

Role: Prototype Wire Person Location: West Sussex Hours: Full time, Mon - Thurs (8:30am - 5:00pm) and Fridays (8:30am - 12:30pm) Pay: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Prototype Wire Person to join one of our clients, an innovative business based in West Sussex. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams to build and test complex electrical systems and prototype control panels within a collaborative technical environment. Benefits: Competitive salary depending on experience 25 days holiday per annum Pension and healthcare schemes Early finishes on Fridays Opportunity to work on innovative engineering projects Supportive and collaborative team environment The Requirements: HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Ability to wire complex panels and systems from schematic drawings Knowledge of European Standards and Directives, UL and FCC requirements IT literate with the ability to work with CAD schematic drawings Strong communication and organisational skills Flexible and collaborative working approach The Role: Wiring complex panels and electrical systems from schematic diagrams Terminating cables using industry standard techniques Carrying out connector soldering and cable crimping Supporting the design of prototype systems alongside engineering teams Using CAD packages to read and amend schematic drawings Testing completed cabinet builds to ensure functionality Supporting continuous improvement and efficient working practices Ensuring quality and compliance procedures are followed If you're keen to join a forward-thinking engineering environment where you can contribute to innovative technical projects, then please apply to this Prototype Wire Person role below or call Jamie Watson at Clearline Recruitment on (phone number removed) between 9:00am - 5:30pm
