PRU Teacher
A well-established alternative provision in Telford is looking to appoint a committed and resilient PRU Teacher on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and challenging behaviour, helping them re-engage with education in a structured and supportive environment.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students working at varying levels
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with the provision’s policies
* Build strong, consistent relationships to promote trust, engagement, and progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential
* Experience working within a PRU, alternative provision, or with SEMH needs (highly desirable)
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
* A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
