Salary: £23.85 per hour (Weekdays) - £32.36 per hour (Weekends)
Position: Full time
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift PSV Technician to join a busy and well-established depot in Staylybridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable operation with consistent work, competitive pay, and overtime available.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and operating at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on PSV vehicles
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
* Ensure all work is completed to high safety and compliance standards
* Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
* Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
Shift Pattern
* 5 days out of 7 (3-week rotating rota):
* 05:00 – 13:00
* 08:00 – 16:00
* 16:00 – 00:30
* Working 2 out of 3 weekends
What We’re Looking For
* Apprentice-trained technician (ideal)
* Experience working on PSV, bus, EV, or HGV vehicles
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work independently when required
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of health & safety practices

* £32.36 per hour (Weekends)

* 20 days holiday + bank holidays
* Additional 5 days holiday after 5 years’ service
* Stable, workshop-based role (no mobile work)
