We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support student development
Apply your psychology knowledge to support emotional regulation and behaviour
Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:

A psychology graduate (or related field) eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
A strong interest in SEND, mental health, and child development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
