Pump Engineer 📍 Manchester (North West & UK Travel) 💰 £40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Standby + Bonus We are currently working with a growing and well-established engineering business who are looking to recruit an experienced Pump/ Electro Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team in the North of England. Based out of their Manchester facility, this is a field-based role covering the North West, with occasional travel across the UK. This position has arisen due to continued growth and expansion across an already impressive client portfolio. 🔧 The Role: * Removal, installation and maintenance of electro mechanical assets including motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans and rotating equipment * Working on above and below ground pumping equipment, pressure sets and pump stations * Carrying out fault finding and root cause analysis on mechanical and electrical systems * Interpreting technical drawings and schematics * Workshop-based mechanical and electrical duties * Commissioning and setting up new equipment across customer sites * Inspecting, repairing and maintaining submersible pumps, booster sets and pumping systems * Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations * Liaising with site teams, colleagues and clients to ensure smooth project delivery ✅ Requirements: * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Pump Engineer / Electro Mechanical Engineer * Strong experience working with pumps, motors, gearboxes and rotating equipment * Proven experience in fault finding, servicing and maintenance * Strong understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Ability to work independently and use initiative * Full UK driving licence * Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota 💰 What’s on Offer: * Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience * Company vehicle * Overtime opportunities * Standby allowance * Bonus scheme * Private medical and dental insurance * Company pension * Sick pay * Free on-site parking * Training and development opportunities * Company events This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and expanding company, offering long-term stability, strong earning potential, and the chance to work across a varied and technically interesting portfolio
