A long-established CNC manufacturing company—specialising in laser cutting, perforating, and sheet metal fabrication—is seeking an experienced Punch-Press Operator to join its skilled production team. What You’ll Be Doing
Operating Amada CNC turret punch machines to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components
Setting, tooling, and running punch press machinery efficiently
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
Carrying out first-off and in-process quality checks
Ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout production runs
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets
Supporting other fabrication processes when required
What We Offer
£14.50-£15 per hour depending on experience
38 hours per week (days)
Regular overtime available
A modern workshop equipped with the latest CNC machinery, including laser cutters, turret punch presses, press brakes, and guillotines
A stable position within a growing and highly reputable manufacturing business
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience operating Turret punch machines, Amanda beneficial but not essential
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
