Quality Assurance Auditor

Wythenshawe

Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Flexibility required to cover 2:00pm – 10:00pm and 10:00pm – 6:00am shifts)

Pay: £13.28 per hour (depending on experience), after 12 weeks salary review.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to ensure our products consistently meet food safety, quality, and customer standards. This role is key to maintaining compliance with BRC, HACCP, and GMP requirements across production and packing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine quality checks (including MAP, metal detection, seal integrity)

Monitor compliance with HACCP, GMP, and site procedures

Complete audits (hygiene, temperature, glass & perspex, line start-ups)

Ensure accurate completion of quality records and documentation

Conduct traceability, labelling, and packaging checks

Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions

Support audits (BRC, customer, internal) and quality investigations

Promote strong food safety and hygiene standards across site

About You:

Experience in QA or food safety within food manufacturing (dairy desirable)

Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, BRC

High attention to detail and confident on the factory floor

Strong communication skills and ability to challenge standards

Flexible to cover alternative shifts when required
