QC Laboratory Technician

Quality Control Laboratory Technician Location: Wigan Full Time | Permanent Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in laboratory testing and quality control? We are seeking a proactive QC Laboratory Technician to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring the highest standards of product quality. What You'll Be Doing You will be expected to: * Perform in-process and final product testing in line with specifications * Test incoming raw materials as required * Prepare pre-shipment samples and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete * Carry out calibration procedures in accordance with equipment schedules * Complete inspection and testing procedures following manufacturing instructions * Identify non-conforming materials or processes and take appropriate corrective action * Issue accurate process adjustment instructions to production teams * Support project and development work when assigned * Provide test method training to operators and designated personnel * Respond to customer complaints, process failures, and non-conformance issues in a timely manner * Maintain accurate quality records and documentation * Report any incidents or abnormal situations to senior staff promptly * Ensure all activities comply with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards What You'll Bring Essential Experience working in a quality control or laboratory environment * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Good organisational and documentation skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience with laboratory equipment calibration * Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance standards * Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment If you wish to apply for this position, please send your CV to
