Job Title: QTS SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Rochdale)
Location: Rochdale
Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week

We are looking for a QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. If you are a qualified teacher with experience supporting SEN students and are passionate about making a positive impact, wed love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons to SEN students.
Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student, including emotional regulation and diverse learning styles.
Help students build subject knowledge, improve study skills, and enhance exam confidence.
Foster a supportive, safe, and consistent learning environment that helps students thrive.
Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents, carers, or professionals as required.

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).

Desirable Qualifications:

PGCE in Secondary Education.
Experience with students who have Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
