About the role:
Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school to recruit a qualified Science Teacher for an exciting new opportunity. This is a fantastic role for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be confident teaching across the Science curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and able to inspire students of varying abilities. Subject specialisms in any of these areas are strongly encouraged.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum
Differentiate lessons to support students of mixed abilities
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with the wider department and school staff
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for education and supporting student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
