The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join a growing technical team. You will play a key role in ensuring all manufactured components meet strict quality standards, supporting both production and engineering teams to maintain excellence across all processes.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in machining, metals, and quality systems who enjoys problem-solving and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and test products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
Monitor production processes and apply corrective actions where required
Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports and procedures
Carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions
Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues
Support and deliver training on quality standards and procedures
Ensure adherence to SOPs and internal quality systems
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in a quality engineering or QA role within manufacturing
Good understanding of metals, machining processes, and tooling
Proficient in CAD software
Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Confident communicator with strong teamwork skills
Experience producing technical documentation for manufacturingDesirable Experience
Experience with Autodesk Vault
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
Background in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
Exposure to shop floor machining or hardware manufacturing environments
