Apply NowFutures are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client to support compliance, resolve quality issues and drive improvements across their manufacturing operation. This role would suit someone with strong auditing and problem-solving skills who enjoys working with teams to improve processes and maintain high standards.
Working closely with production and other departments, you will help ensure the company’s quality systems remain effective, meet customer expectations and support ongoing certification.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing and updating the Business Management System to maintain alignment with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
Leading the internal audit schedule, assessing how processes operate and ensuring audit findings are addressed effectively.
Helping teams prepare for customer and certification body audits, providing evidence and coordinating follow-up activities.
Investigating customer-reported issues and internal non-conformances, identifying underlying causes and implementing actions to prevent recurrence.
Checking the effectiveness of corrective actions and identifying opportunities for wider improvements.
Preparing and reviewing quality records, supporting material certification requirements and maintaining accurate documentation.
Providing day-to-day quality guidance to colleagues and contributing to process improvement projects.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing.
A sound working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external assessments.
Strong investigation skills, with a structured approach to root cause analysis and corrective action.
Confidence working with quality documentation and material certificates.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
