Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to join a precision manufacturing environment where you can make a real impact?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality processes, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in ensuring high standards across production and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, and other problem-solving tools
* Manage non-conformances (NCR), corrective actions (CAR), and engineering change notices (ECN)
* Own and manage the RMA process, ensuring effective resolution of customer complaints and returns
* Drive continuous improvement (CI) activities across manufacturing processes
* Carry out inspection and quality checks using CMM, Faro Arm, and metrology equipment
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure robust quality standards and processes
* Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
Experience Required
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer within manufacturing
* Strong experience with CI tools: 5S/6S, Kaizen, VSM, Pareto, Ishikawa, QCPC
* Proven ability in root cause analysis and problem solving
* Experience using CMM, Faro Arm, or similar inspection equipment
* Strong understanding of quality systems and process improvement
* Highly organised with a detail-focused approach
Desirable
* Experience within precision engineering, aerospace, or high-spec manufacturing
* Exposure to vacuum technology or scientific industries
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* HNC/HND/ONC in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality (or similar)
