Quality Engineer

We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Bedfordshire area. The Quality Engineer will work as part of the internal team where you will manage the QMS, liaise with customers and work on Quality improvement projects. You will report into the Director of Manufacturing and Quality.

As the Quality Engineer you will be required too :

* Maintain the QMS system

* Liaise with customers regarding any issues

* Raise and Process CAR’s through to completion

* Work on Quality improvement projects

* Conduct Internal, External , product and process audits

* Identify and resolve quality issues using quality tools (5 Whys, 8D and corrective action tracking tools)

Requirements:

* Ideally 3 years + in a Quality position

* Problem solving

* Auditing skills and experience

* An understanding of AS9100/AS9120 would be preferred but not essential

* Experience problem solving 5 Why,8D,PFMEA

* Experience in Aerospace industry would be an advantage

* Excellent communication and presentation skills
