Quality Engineer

We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Quality Engineer will report into the Quality Manager and will have a good knowledge of quality systems and will be working to maintain and improve Quality performance.

As the Quality Engineer you will be required too :

* Implement process controls

* Recording and control of internal and external rejects

* Generate quality documents (Quality alerts, SOP etc)

* Maintain communication of internal & external rejects to stakeholders

* Maintain quality data and reporting to the business

* Audit processes across the business to ensure compliance

* Identify and resolve quality issues using quality tools (5 Whys, 8D and corrective action tracking tools)

Requirements:

* Technical knowledge would be an advantage

* Knowledge of production processes & foundry capabilities

* Able to record data and report to the business

* Embed improvement into process activities

* Able to control internal and external rejects and able to use tracker systems

* Strong manufacturing or automotive experience would be an advantage
