Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector (Aerospace / CNC Engineering) – Brentford / Hayes based £45,000 – £55,000 basic + regular overtime (1.5x Mon–Fri) We’re recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Brentford (West London), supporting a busy machining operation with a strong focus on aerospace components (plus other high-spec sectors). This is a great opportunity for a time-served inspector who enjoys working in a structured CNC environment, with support and training available for the right person. Key Responsibilities * Carry out dimensional inspection of precision machined components * Perform first-off, in-process and final inspection * Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T * Use a range of inspection equipment (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.) * Support NCR/quality documentation where required * Work closely with production and engineering to ensure parts meet customer requirements Key Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Inspector / Quality Assurance / CMM Inspector in precision engineering * Strong ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances * Aerospace/ F1/ Defence inspection experience is highly desirable * AS9100 exposure is ideal (or strong ISO quality background) * Comfortable with CMM inspection (operation/programming beneficial, depending on experience) Salary / Hours / Overtime * £45,000 – £50,000 basic (DOE) * Regular overtime available paid at 1.5x Mon–Fri * Mon–Thu 40 hours. * 26 days + bank holidays If you’re a reliable Quality Assurance Inspector looking for a stable role with good overtime and long-term progression, apply today with your CV
