We're looking for a proactive Quality Inspector to support our growing team by carrying out quality inspections, monitoring processes, and helping drive ongoing improvements throughout the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on product quality and operational excellence.
What you'll be doing:
As our Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in safeguarding product quality by:
Conducting internal audits
Performing goods-inward, product, and equipment quality inspections
Carrying out daily process-based quality checks and recording results
Monitoring scrap levels and investigating root causes
Raising and progressing corrective actions with suppliers
Supporting validation of supplier corrective actions
Overseeing internal and external calibration of equipment
Assisting in the creation of SOPs and work instructions
Managing and reporting on customer returns
Undertaking projects focused on continuous improvement and Lean principles
Ensuring clear, accurate documentation and communication across teamsWhat We're Looking for:
Essential:
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Ability to read technical drawings
Experience using basic measuring equipment
Intermediate MS Office skills
Strong time management, attention to detail, and QMS record-keeping abilities
Excellent communication skills
Confident decision-maker
Organised, able to work in a busy environment, and willing to challenge where neededDesirable:
IOSH / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 internal auditor training
5S experience
Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems
