The Client

Our client is at the fore front of the subcontract precision engineering sector. Due to growth,

The Role:

* Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes.

* Inspection of goods in, goods out, subcontract work and all purchased parts.

* In process and finished goods inspection.

* Process auditing.

* Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, maintenance and control of quality-related documentation and records throughout the business.

* The role combines system inspection and verification activities with broader responsibilities for document control, records management, quality administration and process compliance.

* Calibration of measuring equipment.

* Signing first and last inspection reports.

* Reporting of non-conforming parts.

* Working 4-day week, 37 hours Monday-Thursday.

* Will include nights one in 4 weeks £22.68 per hour for this.

The Person:

* Previous inspection experience essential.

* Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thickness and echo meters.

* Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.

* Self-motivated.

* Good communication skills.

* Good housekeeping.
