Quality Inspector - Sheet Metal

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established sheet metal and fabrication business based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong inspection and quality control experience within the sheet metal industry to join a busy manufacturing environment producing high-quality components. The Role As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring all manufactured components meet required specifications and quality standards before leaving production. Key responsibilities include: * Inspecting sheet metal components to ensure they meet engineering specifications * Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Identifying and reporting any defects or non-conformances * Working closely with production and fabrication teams to maintain quality standards * Supporting continuous improvement within the quality process Experience Required * Previous quality inspection experience within the sheet metal or fabrication industry * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Good communication skills Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00 Friday: 08:00 – 14:30 Salary Salary to be discussed depending on experience If you are an experienced Quality Inspector with sheet metal industry experience, we would love to hear from you.
