Quality Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager or Senior/Lead Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in their career to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing organisation. to join an aerospace manufacturing business, reporting into the General Manager. You’ll lead the Inspection Team and take ownership of the QMS, ensuring compliance and right-first-time delivery across the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities - Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (AS9100 / ISO 9100) - Act as Management Representative for all quality matters - Lead and develop the Inspection Team (workload, performance, training) - Oversee inspection & verification at all stages of manufacture - Own Calibration, Testing, Qualification and associated approvals - Create/approve FAIR / LAIR documentation (VisualFAIR experience ideal) - Plan and conduct internal/external audits (AS9100 / ISO 9100) - Support continuous improvement and participate in management reviews What we’re looking for - - Strong aerospace quality background (essential) - Recent, hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience - Confident with engineering drawings & specifications - Audit capability (internal/external) - OASIS experience (preferred) - Strong communication, attention to detail, and Excel/IT skills 4 DAY WEEK - Monday–Thursday, 37 hours/week (06:45–16:30) Pension Plan Health Cash Plan Life Assurance Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Shopping Discounts
