The Opportunity
We are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a Quality Technician to join their Supplier Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic, quality-driven environment, supporting supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role
As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in supporting supplier quality activities, enabling Supplier Quality Engineers to focus on strategic supplier development. You will be involved in a wide range of operational and quality-focused tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and assess supplier PPAP submissions

* Carry out PPAP system clean-up and investigations

* Liaise with suppliers on quality issues, returns, and documentation

* Attend supplier meetings relating to returns and non-conformances

* Perform stock checks, including rework and corrective actions

* Manage return-to-stock and scrap processes

* Coordinate and document repair activities

* Handle invoices and export documentation for supplier returns

* Support packing and pallet preparation for returns and shipments

About You

* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Electrical Engineering, or similar

* Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment

* Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000) and Six Sigma tools

* Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g. 8D) and statistical techniques

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach

* Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
