Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning, independent, family-owned contractor specialising in plumbing and heating projects. With a strong pipeline of work secured with leading housebuilders, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, well-established business where you’ll be given real responsibility and support.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with a few years’ experience who’s looking to step up, gain more exposure, and work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager.

The Role

You’ll be involved across the full commercial lifecycle, playing a key role in the successful delivery of multiple projects. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be trusted to take ownership while continuing to develop your skills.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing and submitting applications

* Managing reconciliations and final accounts

* Tracking project costs, including price increases and fluctuations

* Supporting commercial decision-making and project performance

* Working closely with the Commercial Manager on day-to-day commercial activities

Requirements

* A few years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor

* Commercially aware and keen to learn and progress

* Strong attention to detail and financial awareness

* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
