Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge in civils and earthworks? We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist contractor for an exciting project in Drax, offering a highly competitive package and flexible working arrangements. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on on site, working closely with project teams, and making a real impact on project delivery. What You’ll Be Doing: * Managing project costs, valuations, and forecasts * Handling subcontractor procurement and account management * Leading change control and variation management * Ensuring commercial compliance across the project * Supporting Project Managers and site teams with commercial advice What We’re Looking For: * Proven Quantity Surveyor experience in civils or earthworks * Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar) * Confident in subcontractor and stakeholder management * Commercially astute, proactive, and organised * Happy to spend 2–3 days per week on site, with flexibility to do more What’s in it for You: * Competitive salary: £50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience * Flexible working and site schedule * Opportunity to work on a high-profile earthworks project * Real responsibility and career progression within a specialist contractor If you are a Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career, apply now to join this exciting project
